Business Development Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team! If you're passionate about renewable energy market, building relationships, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and expand market share
• Identify and target new clients and business opportunities in relevant industries
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Lead negotiations and close high-value deals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services
• Development business strategy for commercial and Industrial solar energy
• Identify C & I clients and business opportunities
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business development strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles (3+ years preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Specific knowledge of solar and other renewable energy technologies is required
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in an international environment
• Track record of successfully managing complex sales cycles and closing deals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional networking and stakeholders' partnerships in the renewable energy business environment
• Ability to maintain the highest level of sales negotiation, ethics and integrity
• Fluent or native English is required
• Flexibility, ability to adapt to changing goals and set priorities
• High level of independence, initiative, result orientation
• Prepare and submit quarterly performance reports
• Proficiency in Windows applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
